▷ video artwork
Flow, my tears, fall from your springs
Exiled forever, let me mourn
”Flow My Tears” is composer John Dowland’s (1563-1626) most famous song, which addresses the experience of being in exile and never able to return home. A text from the Renaissance that is still current.
Flow my tears: a comment is a video artwork that fuses historic music with contemporary visuals and encourages the viewer to create their own interpretation of what they see.
